What is dual camera recording?

Short answerDual camera recording captures the front and back cameras at the same time in one video, usually with one view as a small window over the other. It needs an iPhone whose hardware supports it.

What you need
An iPhone that supports recording two cameras at once, and an app that offers it. iPhone 17 models have Dual Capture in Apple's Camera app; apps can do it on many earlier models since iOS 13. It uses more battery and makes more heat than a single camera.
