How to record your screen with your face on iPhone
By Con, founder of Music Wide Selfie · Updated 22 October 2026
Short answeriPhone's built-in screen recording doesn't include your camera, so you need an app that adds a face window. Music Wide Selfie's Screen + Face records both into one video and has passed early testing in the app.
Tips
- Turn on Do Not Disturb so notifications don't appear.
- Use headphones if the screen has sound.
- Drag your face window away from buttons you'll tap.
- Speak slower than normal; viewers are watching two things.
Recording across other apps depends on what Apple allows, and that part is still being tested.
